Craig Chappelle was a member of the original 2002 project steering group and chairman of DCW Incorporated until 2011, when he became a founding director of the company. He has lived in Denmark for 37 years and is a former journalist, media executive and Denmark shire councillor (1996–2004). Craig has been a director of DCW Ltd since November 2011.
Paul Llewellyn has more than 35 years’ experience in capacity building, environmental planning, management and finance, and renewable energy. He has worked with government agencies and commercial organisations, and was an MLC in the WA parliament from 2005–2009. Paul has been a director of DCW Ltd since November 2011.
Murray Thornton, BCom UWA, (Acctg, Econ) is a local business owner, farmer and former shire councillor. He has been a UN observer for East Timor, is a life member and former director of Surf Lifesaving WA, and a life member and former president of the Denmark SLSC. He is the third generation of his family to operate businesses in Denmark. Murray has been a director of DCW Ltd since November 2011.
Kelli Friar, BSc (Chem Eng) has more than 27 years’ operational and leadership experience in the energy industry, including oil refining, electricity generation / distribution, and environmental management. She served as a non-executive director of the Sustainable Energy Association from 2009-2015. Kelli has been a director of DCW Ltd since January 2016.
Jacqueline Bell, MA, ACMA, company secretary and administrator, has more than 20 years’ experience in finance and management, in the UK and Australia. Her previous positions include financial controller in a major sub-sea and pipeline engineering company, and manager of resource planning (capital projects) at a major university.
